When Rhodes Island's rescue team found Absinthe, she was laying on her back amidst a heap of rubble, alone and dying from hunger. In a short period of time, this group went from initially trying to maintain order and protect civilians, to a state of being unable to fend for themselves, even stealing food to survive. The Ursursians who remained struggled amidst the despair to cling to their lives, working together with a small team of local police officers after the Catastrophe. But as the situation worsened and the Catastrophe arrived, the line of defense was torn down, with violence and panic engulfing the entire city like a wildfire. The local police force, as the basic unit of security in the city, could barely maintain order and evacuate the crowds even at the beginning. According to her account, Reunion's attack came very suddenly.

Sometimes this works in Absinthe’s favor-it certainly makes her useful against enemies with high HP or those that get stronger as their HP falls. However, unlike most Casters, her damage output is tied to her target’s HP more than the activation of a particular Skill (especially with Terminating Burst ).
While this Skill is active, Absinthe starts firing multiple shots at a time, all of which can benefit from her Talent! Unfortunately, while it’s active, Absinthe also stops targeting enemies who have more than half their health, so timing the usage of this Skill must be done with care….Ībsinthe has good ATK and the bonus from Enforcer is quite large, so her damage output can be rather sizable. If you’d rather go all-out on executing the weak, go for her Skill 2, Terminating Burst. This is an excellent general-purpose Skill, but it does take a long time to charge and activate. Her Skill 1, Enforcement Mode, is a permanent buff that increases Absinthe’s ATK and changes her targeting so she always attacks the enemy with the lowest HP percentage in her range. From there, her Skills take her down two different paths to the gallows. The executions begin with Absinthe’s Talent, Enforcer, which gives her bonus damage against enemies who are below 40% health.
